The law as it stands is 30MPH over the speed limit is an instant ban, hence why you get banned at over a ton!
Also explains why some of you haven't been banned doing 56 in a 30 zone.

Just wanted to say that when I got caught doing 56 in a 30 zone it was on a long straight wide road and there wasn't much other traffic around. IMO I wasn't driving dangerously. Damn plod was hiding in a bush!
