I have this photo labelled Carlton Road. Now this could be either Wallasey or Birkenhead. I think it's Birkenhead. Can anyone help?

This is Carlton Road in New Brighton,
Photo taken before SS Peter & Paul RC Church was built which would now be seen at the end of the Road,
Spent the first 32 years of my life there
