Hello folks, well me and ann popped down to the big second hand store, and i got some great stuff for the m.a.m. railway.Some crew LARA for the mine loco ROSE, a girl and boy a bag of barrels a tramp AND for the ladies a hunk TARZAN. OH ive also managed to put the mine logo on the side of the landy, and rusted up the rad/grill before i put it on. mike...ann..x..

What shade/type paint do you use for weathering? Do you thin it at all? It's going to look good when it's finished Mike. Keep up the good work.

HI pinz the paint i used on the landy was grey car primer which i got about 2 years ago found in the loft, also used a bit of a indelible ink pen, and the other paints i use on my models is acrilyic paints sometimes thinned down. Anyway LARA,s legs have been bent a bit better to fit on the mine loco,i stuck her in boiling water bent the legs then when i got the shape right under the cold tap and hey presto she ready to sit down {nice}. cheers mike...ann..x. OH nearly forgot ive just noticed on the 3rd to last photo the poor richard wilson look alike has been run down I DONT BELIVE IT! the poor bugger.

Hello everyone, here,s some photos of the landy taking some supplies to the mine bert and his lady friend miss suzy bang!. Good job the tax disc is up to date for the road! dont know about the M.O.T though?. cheers for now mik..ann..x.. OH sorry nearly forgot the landy and the oil drums are not quite finished just needs a bit more detail/weathering/etc.

Don't want to worry you unduly Mike but.... I could have sworn I glimpsed a Traffic Warden creeping out of the undergrowth towards the Land Rover. An evil glint in his eye and muttering "Tax Disc not displayed on correct side of windscreen" !!!

You'll need to make a scaled down parking ticket to put on the windscreen!

the last traffic warden to stick a ticket was gassed by thunder knickers so i dont think another one will show?. Oh but anyway what,s to stop this being a TRICK?? the tax disc being on the wrong side to lure the next two legged ticket sticker!, so they can get his/her head blown off?!! by a right good blast!.

Used to be a Guinness bottle label, way back!
