To block an old flue over a wide conservatory - not with the poles obviously(!) but to lay the poles across the conservatory roof to gain access to said flue.
I'm not very experienced at diy so I assume its scaffold poles I need?
Any thoughts? Any offers?
Cheers!

only danger with poles is they can roll so maybe planks would be better and wider than a scaffold pole

Dodie - no budget to get anyone in, has to be diy. Reddragon - cheers for that. I thought planks may give in the middle, didn't think about poles moving
