Myself and another guy put together a forum Ride out for next sunday. We did it through my old bike members forum but I wanted to extend the offer to all WikiWirral people. We have already rode the route (I did twice lol) and we have plenty of pit stops and toilet breaks on the way.
An easy place to meet would be the Tesco petrol station at the Broughton retail park< this will allow us all to fill up and get ready for the half hour ride to the Horseshoe pass to the Ponderosa cafe for our first stop.
Then we will carry on to Llangollen then Betws-y-Coed, then through the Llanberis pass which is amazing, meander on to Caernarfon and upto the Great Orme at Llandudno, have a stop off and them mozy on home the easy way on the A55 to Chester or back the way we came. Please let me know what you think and we can divert anywhere along the route if you know a good road. Anyone is welcome including friends on non bandits etc. If you fancy helping to run the day ie take up the lead or the rear please let me know. Any input welcome and i'm sure well have a great days ride.
So there you have it, If you have a bike and want to ride let me know. cheers guys.

Depends on the weather more than anything. I am strictly a fair weather rider. Also - never done a ride of that distance before and would be two-up with Mrs on the back. Up to now our idea of a "ride out" is to the Pondy & back. I'm also an expert at getting lost!
We will see how the weather looks for next Sun.

I didnt think I could ride that far ( the furthest being ellesmere port before this) but then I just went out for the ride and it felt like I did 50miles, I had a big smile on my face the whole time, such amazing roads and cenery. you are welcome to come along and if you get worried you can peal off and head back. or even just ride to the ponderosa with us and see how you feel from there?. tbh its pretty much just one or 2 roads so its almost impossible to get lost. I am incredibly bad for getting lost and I managed to do this last week just from memmory.
P.s what do you ride?
