Right here are the postcards about 94 in total. Bit of Wallasey, New Brighton and even Liverpool. Thanks to my girlfriend's nan & grandad for allowing me to scan every single one smile

Excellent, well done mate and thanks.

God help us,
Come yourself,
Don't send Jesus,
This is no place for children.

My memories of the wax works are as follows (circa 1967/8); As you went in there was a Wax work of queen Victoria, and one of her old bath chairs (sort of massive wicker wheelchair with a steering tiller)..... other old figures can't remember who ! then you went down some stairs to the chamber of horrors. They had a mock-up of Sweeny Todd's barber shop, with a tilting chair that allowed the customer to be tilted backward to be "despatched"! There was a guy on the rack (complete with bloody underarms) an Iron maiden spikes and all (complete with terrified looking girl upon whom it was about to be closed) and to me at 8 years of age the most horrific of all some poor bloke in thumbscrews who had the most haunting eyes EVER! Used to scare the ... out of me but I just HAD to look at him. There must have been loads more stuff (I think there was a mummy) but I just don't remember what .....In the entrance / Exit area there was a giant picture made out of Red Admiral Butterflies (it was just a huge circle of colour but was fantastic).
