Does anyone know of a man in their family with the surname Taylor ,who was in the police force, was from the Wirral and would have been born in the 1890s? If so, please contact me as we are related and I'd love to know more. Thanks.

Not in my family, but there was an Edward Taylor who was a Police Constable and lived in 4 Houghton Road, Upton in 1938.

Thanks - it's worse than looking for a needle in a haystack without a christian name!
