those same style tank traps where on the shore at west kirby and the spaces between them filled with barb wire 1944.sorry no photo's as i was only a small boy at the time and was staying at the childrens converlesant home on meols drive wesy kirby, and we use to be taken down to the shore and had to sit on the sand above the barb wire and take in the sea air {yes and it was winter] sorry for going off the subject
