I'm going to suggest to Transcendal that one of his guided walks be at Storeton Woods
Nearly 50 years since I was there (school cross country course)

Anyone have any places of interest to look for there(besides The Travellers Rest} and maps , locations etc
Please post in this topic

I mapped all the pathways out when I was 12 or 13*, a lot of the pathways have now extended a few feet further outwards now due to use.

(* I was a very sad teenager!)

I'd love to join you on a walk in my old boyhood stomping ground but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to walk any distance these days owing to a lung condition (fibrosing alveolitis). Have fun.

Carpe diem.
