Excellent pictures ahbaldy!. The second one must have been taken not that long before my dads ones at the start of the thread. Seeing colour pictures of it makes it seem a lot more real to those of us too young to remember it first hand.

They said the pier was unsafe due to storm damage yet they had to detonate it TWICE with explosives to get it down. New Brighton baths gone, storm damage, funny old thing that storm damage.
