I HAVE FOUND OUT WHO LIVED IN MY HOUSE IN THE 1900 IT WAS A JOHN HARGREAVES,HE WORKED AS A PROVISION MERCHANT .DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO LIVED IN THERE HOUSE IN THE PAST?

Loads of people with it as a surname around here.
John Hargreaves is the founder of Matalan and is pretty rich now.

my home was built in 1845 romoured to be orgionally at monks ferry . Architect unknown, but possibly Richard Kemp
