It turns out my Gt Gt Grandfather was born only 8 miles from where we live now !
We moved here 30 years ago from Chester with no idea he was born so close, really spooky !
Strange how these coincidences happen. We moved to Shropshire over 40 years ago, by accident (but that's another story). It turns out that both sides of my family came from Shropshire. I can trace my mother's side back to about 1550 & my father's side to 1740. I only discovered this a few years ago.
