I curated an exhibition in the Wirral Museum,formerly Birkenhead Town Hall, to commemorate the centenary in 2007/8.
The YMCA where Baden-Powell gave his talk,is now the building that Primark occupies.2 groups were formed that night,the 1st YMCA Duke of Westminsters own and the 2nd who are still located on the site of their original H.Q. on North Road.
The plaque is now in the new YMCA's conference room ,in Whetstone Lane. This Plaque was funded entirely by Baden-Powell.
