We once saw what we thought was a music group/band taking photos on Hilbre Island for some reason. An old abandoned building on the docks near to the roundabout to the Ro-Ro
Along the Dock Road in Wallasey (between the motorway link road and the Door Store) opposite all the industrial units is the remnants of some sort of depot - just a pile of rubble and a big chunk of thick wall left - with a couple of absolutely gorgeous (if you like that sort of thing!) rusting iron doors set into the remaining portion of the wall. Rich dark colours, intricate patterns and textures of weathering and corrosion - fantastic background for a close shot. I need to go along and take some pictures myself, before they finally bite the dust.
