An Indian customer asked me about summer holidays with the kids that isnt going to cost him a fortune. He was baulking at £800 a week (as would i) . Was even more shocked when i looked up a Haven Caravan holiday August Cornwall £1200 + for 7 days....obviously been a few years since we were doing caravan hols with our 3.. Now wheres that tent......
Any one done an area of the country with lots of kiddie things to do. Seem to remember a small theme park down in cornwall somewhere.

I know we are not allowed to mention a certain daily rag but has he/ have you looked at the offers for off peak holidays, they sound rather reasonable but I have no personal experience. Might just have time to collect sufficient vouchers. https://www.holidaypirates.com/holi...lidays-collect-your-holiday-tokens_15076

I just looked up Forest Holidays..... £2,900 for 7 nights August , log cabin, Beddgelert ! So basically, it's self catering under wood and in a wood. Tent in a wood sounds much better. Depends on age of kids. Shropshire has quite a lot of interesting places. Otherwise I'd suggest N. Wales. Lots of beach in Llandudno, Zoo &, swimming baths at Colwyn Bay. (All extra cash of course) https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attractions-g186365-Activities-Shropshire_England.html

Did these for a few years many years ago. excellent value off peak hols. Arrived at Holiday camp at Silloth at the same time that half the black population of wolverhampton arrived with ghetto blasters and water guns. ... We can toast marshmallows over the camp fire Granny
