There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

Well by all accounts that went well, hundreds there according to OH who came home marvelling about a turbo charged Daihatsu engine having been fitted into a mini. -Yawn.
It was very busy, loads of visitors and a lot of car clubs. I had no idea the event was on this scale. Some nice cars in the car park as well like the Mercedes 420SL Cabriolet and I managed to get one of my cars in a dominant position but I was only there for about an hour, went for a nice drive around the Wirral after.
Couple of big American cars like the Oldsmobile and the Riviera, I always have a soft spot for those monsters.
Loads of very well restored cars, far too many to list. Nice to see a Vauxhall 101 FC estate, I had a number of FB Victors for a while and there was an Austin Cambridge, my first car being its sister the Morris Oxford. Of course there was at least one E-type there, you can't have a classic show without one of those icons.
Car of the show for me was the pastel green Ford Zephyr.
