Hi! all you knowledgeable people of Wirral, I need your help please. I am looking to obtain, but am failing miserably, a piece of Melamine Faced Chipboard end panel for my kitchen unit, The measurements are 18mm thick ( 3/4 inch )x 460mm wide ( 18 inch ) x 880mm high ( aprox 35 inch )the colour I am told is Walnut or lightish Oak. I have tried places like B & Q but they tell me it is sold in 10 foot lengths. A piece slightly larger than the measurements quoted would be ok! but not 10 foot long. Can anyone offer any help please. Many Thanks

Try howdens joinery there in moreton birkenhead and bromborough they have loads of kitchen types

or if thats unsucessful, try the local freecycles - people often have pieces lying around or are about to have a kitchen dismantled/altered etc.
