Just wondered if anyone knows what was originally on the land where mere farm road is. In particular the cul de sacs on the left as you enter from the main road. Thanks
Always was farmland until Farndon etc was built in the early 70's.
Mere Farm itself was on the inside of the bend on Mere Farm Road.

Yes, although it doesn't go along Mere Farm Rd. From the Swan hotel it follows the line of the old Flat Lanes, then Noctorum Lane then Budworth Rd. then Bidston Rd. to the Flaybrick reservoir. Here's a map.
