I drove through leasowe road an hour ago. A torront of water was coming up through a drain. It was mayhem in wallesy but you would not know it back over in moreton where it hardy rained.
I got 2 videos and managed 3 pictures, will upload them when at laptop tomorrow. Enjoying this, i adore a good thunder and lightening storm, scares me a little if it thunder cracks really loud but love it all the same. It's not everyday you see a thing as amazing as this.
I love the storms but the dog has a hissy fit and looks like she's going to have a bloody heart attack or just drop dead.
I've got a video but will have to upload it later on. Ex hubby's gutted we've got the storm here as he loves them too. I've said I'll send it back home for him
haha sorry mate was trying to see if i could save it as i live right there, but think ive posted it to your facebook page. So sorry, but great vid i must have walked down the road just after that. x
We saw a twister while we were driving along the M53. It kept spiralling down from the cloud bank then getting sucked back up again. Was over towards Greasby.
When we got home to Upton it was eerily calm. Cluds were doing weird things - getting sucked upwards then pushed downwards.
We had 2 twisters coming directly towards my mum and dad's house in meols that turned off just before they got to the house. Was quite scary to watch as they were close and you could see them twisting round. Got a couple of pics on my phone but don't know how to get them on here
wow! its funny that cos in the middle of the downpour, we suddenly had a hail stones! and my no.2 son (being the stormchaser fan he is) was highly excited saying that "only happens when there is twisters about".
I thought he was just being nuts as he normally is
