Just want to recommend this book, as I know it's now available in paperback. They've got it at the reception desk at the Wirral Museum, Hamilton Square. I think it's £3.50.

I went to Oxton Book site but they don't send to Aus. Would appreciate any help from you guys????

I'm sure someone will get it & send it to you. Payment would be easy enough with PayPal. Incidentally, I'm sure I saw it at Wirral Museum for £3.50. Should cost about £3 to send airmail. If I were local, I'd do it.

Cheers, Chris.

Yes, Tranmere is a lot older than Birkenhead & stretches further than most people think.

Could be worth a walk down to the museum for a copy.

Amongst other books,Wirral champion also sell it for £4.95 and £1.25 p+p.This site is well worth looking at for local books if no one is aware of it.
