Just want to recommend this book, as I know it's now available in paperback. They've got it at the reception desk at the Wirral Museum, Hamilton Square. I think it's £3.50.

Got my copy yesterday(19/11) pretty good for surface mail. It is really interesting.

No Chris deffo surface. I cannot beleive how big Tranmere was according to the book and all the info in it.

Yes, Tranmere is a lot older than Birkenhead & stretches further than most people think.

Could be worth a walk down to the museum for a copy.
