Hi guys,

I`ve sold an xbox to a mate and he`s asked me if i can put xbmc on it, mine already has this on it.

Could i just open them up, remove the hard drives, connect them to my pc and copy the data over (after partitioning etc..)?

idiot

afaik, xboxes use standard ide hard drives, not sure about the file format though if its readable through pc?

Even if it would work, I dont think it may transfer all the files, may be hidden or system ones required or something may need installing?

I dunno, I dont even own an xbox, but tis what I think lol

how did you get it on in the first place?

i bought it like that joe, wierd thing is, its never been opened??? so the only way i can think its been done is via the ethernet socket or usb hooked up to a pc.
