"V Car" is a "Total Loss" vehicle...

The car has been involved in an accident and been an insurance Write off at some stage in its life.

"V Car" Vehicles are a risk as you dont know how bad the damage was and the quality of the repair that was carried out, they are only worth approx 3/4 the value of a normal car. Also they are quite difficult to sell again, hence the reduced price.....

the car in question is a 2002 model VTR, no service history but has the V5 and done 16k (could of been clocked though) his reserve is £4200 but he wants my car plus a grand?????

If that car was a total loss, then why has it been repaired? Sounds dodgy to me.
