How about we have a massive convoy,

Cruise North Wales + North Wales Modified Car Club + Midnite Racing + Dark Cruisers + Cruise Wirral

I could see there being at least 100 cars

Its an idea that has been put forward to us before, USC for example.
And it hasnt worked, as we have our own leaving and arrival times to consider,
and these dont always fit in with other convoys.

Great idea, but i cant see it happening for
the reasons above.

Cruisewirral can pull an impressive + 30 on a normal convoy day, so the with the nationals
were hoping for + 50

But one thing is for sure how ever the cars get there its going to be the best event for modified cars 2005.

yup it will be CNW will have the best MK2 and best MK3 fiesta's for sure haha

Thats more than enough mate, dont forget when you buy your Cruisewirral Clubstand ticket we provide you with basic food for the 3 days (Burgers, Hot-Dogs, Chicken Drumsticks and sausages and stuff like that) Take a crate of beer with you and then you just need some pocket money and petrol money mate. I dont think i spent £50 last year.

everyone had food and was lettin me jump in, so i only baught a couple of burgers from the burgar vans while i was over at the burnout arena

I watch the Cruisewirral DVD from last year at the nationals and it was so funny,

i was looking on the modified nationals website www.modifiednationals.co.uk and i saw that anyone can be a sponsor for £1,000 ! u get put on all the leaflets tickets and stuff and i was wounderin if we could do some fund raising stuff to try raise enuff money for the sponsorship ?
i no it wud be hard but its a challenge !

Great idea matey but its quite simply out of our reach.



£1,000 is allot of wonga to raise and most our members are more interested in putting there hard earned cash into modifying there cars (including me)

BUT

the sooner you pay, the better. Not too sure on the details for paying on the gate etc meself, but I hear the word on the street is that the tickets are selling quicker than the organisers expected

If you wish to pay for your ticket in installments, you can do so.

Ill pay you the first tenner on thursday and then meet up the next thursday if thats possible for you (at the rock maybe) to give you the rest?

:a: Note: Cruisewirral dont have an "allocation" of space this year?

What this means is that the space is allocated to the amount of "Full" Paid Tickets.

So the worst senario is that if your paying bit by bit, and they declare that the tickets have sold out, that's it.

Obviously your Part Payments will be refunded.

Weekend tickets or "On the Gate" dont entitle you to the club stand area's.
You will be parking else where.
Day tickets your in a seprate parking area and have to leave about 7pm (its in the First Posts).

We honnestly dont know when they will say the event has sold out, or if it will.
But what they have informed us of is that demand for pre bookings has exceeded there exceptations by far.
And the possiblity of it becomeing sold out before there closing date is possible.

:a: Our advice is to begg / borrow the money but get paid up as soon as you can,
as cruisewirral can not guarntee availabilty of tickets the closer the event gets.

Its going to be Massive, and by the sounds of it Bigger and better than last year if at all possible.

im sooooo gutted i looks like i carnt make the nationals this year, as im in the process of buildin my show car, i know this year will be s**t good goin from last year just look at the pic's so many feature cars in mag from the nationals make sure ur car gleems an looks its best 4 this 1 so many mags around! hope u all have a great time if my situation changes i will let u all know. all the best pingu

Hey i was just wondering, seeing as theres a load of use going in tents etc, is there like a set amount of land available ? i mean we will have the CW stand etc, so is there a certain allowance of tents for the area or is it just a matter of finding a space and setting up camp ?

At a guess,
were allocated space to the number of tickets.
But to be sure of space were arriving early.
Then were sure to be fine.

I think they will look after us and give plenty of space

Thats one way, but it will probably be more like £10 as we travel at 60 - 70 mph on convoys and with it being such a large convoy i think 60mph will be enough to try to keep everyone together.
