What a great day we had.... Weather stayed with us dispite adverse weather forcasts, Webmaster strikes again

Good to see so many members turn up this morning for the convoy to the Classic Car Show. Short Journey up there.

Great to see so many of the older vehicles, there was a bit of everythink there, Old Vintage cars to the very latest Ferrari & Lamborguini's.

Clubstand after clubstand, so much effort made by so many people.

Top Top Show.

We managed to loose Broomy and Maverick quite early on in the return Convoy and then we lost Sanchez, Rocco and Aggy missed the turning for the M53

Left us and Ade traveling home on the M53....

Thanks to the members who attended this event.

I will post more later as i am done in.

What a great day again,

Weather was tops and the cars were awesome,
it really does give you an idea of how far the modern car has come.

From the oldest to the newest they all shined,
and each car had that "Pride and Joy" factor attached to it.

The classic car show has lots of competitions and prizes for all classes of car, and individual awards to.
So there is a possible winner in every car there.

So as you look at this picture below you can see all the stalls selling just about everything,
Not so much the modern but I’m sure you can find a 1920's spanner in there.

We had a little game were we had to find the most useless item for under £5 which was a good bit of fun, (See link in first post).
I was almost about to enter this door lol,
but couldn’t get him under a £5.

So the hunt went on.
ADE n Scooby fighting over which model airplane was the best one lol.
It was a trip down memory lane lol..

[Linked Image]

And speaking of lanes,
How do we find them ? On the way to USC we found a road with a rude name and then this one,
on the way out from Tatton Park.

[Linked Image]

Back to the fun and games, and also a trip down memory lane for a lot of us lol.
Remember the chopper bikes, we were amazed at how much they cost as old as they were.
This wasn’t the most expensive there, but £260 for this ?

But anyways someone had a great idea for using up engines for furniture ?
Look a Table and chair made from engines.

It was a great day and we all had a great time,
relaxing good weather and great banter between members, all the fun of the fair so to speak lol.

Loosing Mav and Broomy on the way home was funny as where there is mav there is a wrong turn, only kidding, but ending up at the Trafford centre lol...

And on the final leg home we watched as Sanchez followed Rocco and Aggy, only to miss our turn off, lol 'Give our regards to Wales'.

Great day, great weather, great company.

Thank you to everyone that turned up and enjoyed the day.

See you at the next one.

The classic car show was a great day, abit different from others. Some really nice cars there, not all the cars where really old, because some cars are classics when they come out. Nice Ferrari's etc. Also had a bit of fun looking for the most usless item under £5. All in all a good day out...
