Both have pro's and cons.

We can look for a Private hall.
With possibly a DJ or Kareoki ~
NO Food or Decorations.

Option 2
Combine Brithday Bash with Hurricane Chav ?
That's a Night out Camping again.
But with a Birthday theme.

Were not going to be able to use the same hall as last time as its booked.

Advantages : Warm and not too far from home.
Disadvantages : Last orders 11pm ish.

Its not confirmed if we can go back to the same place as last year.
But if we do he also has a spare feild where we
can make as much noise as we like.
Sanchez has asked me if i can ask him if we can have a Real Fire ?

Advantages : No Last Orders, Pretty much no rules.
Disadvantages : The distance (40 miles)
It could be cold. (We could get heat in there)
It could be wet.

Either one depending on 20 + heads between £5 - £10

This will be the last chance until next year peeps. If the cruises arnt happening out there
we may as well make our own entertainment.

Which way do you want to play it then peeps.

Why no buffet at the party, I dont think people will mind paying more for our tickets to have a buffet.

Last year the Buffet went mainly to waste.

Ticket prices were an issue last year hence we are attempting to keep the costs down.....

Also the amount of organising was a Joke last year for Admin & Mods, we are also attempting to keep the aranging down to a minimum.

The camping was simply awesome last year, Hurricane Chav simply brings a smile to my face, very very fond memories. The party was good but not a patch on Camping.

Maveric has a big Gas Tent Heater we can borrow.

Not sure if i'm taking the BBQ,
as like scooby say's were looking to have a laugh too.

I asked on behalf of the members, as in previous camping outings the BBQ's been brought with us

and I remember you & Webby saying you didnt really want to do it again as it takes up Webby's time

I didnt expect the BBQ to come at all because of this, so I expect nothing.. hence why in my view its cheaper to go the pub or sumat, cos theres the added cost of food & disposable BBQ's

I expect things for very little or no return???!!

not really, as people will probably want to carry on party'ing out into town...either vegas or Liverpool

Not everyone wants to go to Liverpool.
Those who fancy that can leave when they want.
If we hook up on a 2am Bar.

The feedback last year was it seemed to end when it was just getting good,
if you know what i mean.

So a 2am or 1am bar would keep the Majority happy.

A 10:30 - 11pm Bar just ends too quick,
as peeps didnt all arrive until 9ish.

So it would keep most happy with a + 11pm Bar.

im going to be going to town afterwards! the same place for to long always seems a bit borin! so im not bothered! think the woodside is a 1am bar aswell!

So i'm going to be calling around later again.

Just Noticed the Track Day on the 19th November so that date is out which would have been the following saturday.

I'm going to be asking for

12th Saturday or 26th November.

Up 'n' comin' convoys forum is for any events cw will be attending officially this include's event's that don't actually need convoys, maybe unclear to yourself and other members but a little rule when we post a topic in here is prefix the topic title with convoy when there is a convoy

I thought it would be in EVENTS. as it is a big event for cruisewirral. Would make more sense to have it in events but never mind. Yes you have cleared it up for me Broomy

Unfortunately due to the lack of interest and the high costs involved with regards to holding a party, Admin have been left no option but to cancel the Cruisewirral Birthday Party.

This is due to circumstances beyond our control.

I can honestly say that i am GUTTED this has happened, Last year was such a laugh and i was really looking forward to the Party.

Quite a few people were interested!

It is a shame that the party isn't happening yes, but there are other things you can do. I thought my birthday was going to be shite when I heard the BDay thing was on the 19th. Cos thats my 20th! But I thought of other things I could do with different people that would still make it great. Theres going out to Liverpool, Birkenhead, the pub, camping (like Jimbo said) and other things too. It doesn't nessecarily (sp) have to be a piss up for it to be great! :rolleyes:

Tis a massive shame and I was really looking forward to it but is out of are control as admin and mods. A lot more members were needed to cover the costs, just wish everyone would've been up for it.

i was gutted aswell tho, would have been the first time i went to a crusie wirral party Especially now that i have made some new mates such as aggy, rhys and kate would have been nice to get to know more of the fellow cruisers! here is to hoping that a bright spark amung us comes up with a way of keepin the party atmosphere open i know people that would have been well up for it shame its all gone to waste really not to worry tho just the way things work out some times!
