Been on the site long enough so thought i would put up my car.
Its a E30 bmw 325i
2.5 ltr engine inline 6 ment to be about 170bhp but after the rolling road its only 164 with 144lbs
Its got a custom zorst with a golf gti backbox and is lower by 60mm on springs only.Wheels are 17" alpine lookalike's has eyebrows and tinted windows. On the inside its got cobre bucket seats will have pics soon and thats it really its going to be modded heavly this year though hope the pics i have come ut any comments or sugestions on what to do would be great cheers.

its a lovely car that mate, shudnt be dissapointed with the power as its high enough to put a smile on ya face isnt it?

Looks nice as it is mate but if ur stuck for ideas i think dampers are needed to stiffen the handling a lot more, and some sort of spoiler as that is one biiiig bootlid and the current one is a bit weedy.

what you gonna do about the engine mounts?

Insurance is group 17 i think i am paying £1100 with tesco but i have been banned for speeding so i think thats a good price.

Adam going to change all the mounts engine and box to be on the safeside think my driving has a lot to do with the state of the mounts as for de-badgein it was thinking of putting 316 on the back but keeping the bm badges.

Here is my car as standard as i could get it lookin just to show you what it used to look like and there is also a nice pic of some of the abuse i give it. I do love my car but also like to use it i have to admit it is a veryfun car to own.

Just been to an airfield day with my car (sunday13th march) www.javelintrackdays.co.uk was such a good day learnt a few new things about my car things like what to do when you spin out at 80mph and how not try and race a bmw csl.




The day started well had the saftey breif sorted the car then went round on a 3lap learning drive to get to know the course let my mate chris bmw m3evo tack the car out 1st then had my go 3laps in and span out all the lights on the dash came on and i rememberd what stumac tld me so brought it into the pits were there was water pissin everywere opened the bonnet had a look round and chris found i had snapped a fanbelt. Had thought of everything apart from that took 10wheels oil water tools but no fan belt took 2hrs to change gutted.

trackdays are great if you get the chance take your car on one just make sure you take tyres.

NEED MORE POWER anybody have any ideas what i sould do. I have a K&N panel filtyer and a custom zorst.

Not sure how BMWs like theyre power or what is available for them mate but a de-cat would definately help and a chip if u can get one,Cams??

Hasnt got a cat was thinking of a cam and going to get a viperchip end of june lookin for a 525i engine cos they are 192bhp and strong so puttin a turbo on it wouldnt brake the bank but wouldnt know who to go to for it.

Try www.e30zone.co.uk, I got a copied BMW Motorsport chip for less than £50 from someone on there when I had mine Dead easy to swap as the ECU is already socketed

I also left the 320 FPR on for a bit as it allowed a higher fuel pressure on the rail, went great on full throttle, but was a little lumpy at idle and when poodling round

Just finished putting my ice back in the car. Its just put in quick untill Aceritz makes my install.





Just need to put the backseats in again

Oh forgot to mention found a spoiler its of a 2002 bm there a little old but not many e30's have got this spoiler on what do you think?

Been looking at a few mods for my car after june i will have about £100 a month to spend on my car so going to start on the handling anybody know anygood cheap suspension kits. Also i know its a long way off but after xmas all my depts are gone so will have a lot of cash everymonth to spend on my car so it will be sweet any ideas what i should do. Spoke to ben at AC Motorsports (its a bm tunning shop) and a turbo con is £4800 and would give my 250bhp anybody know i cheaper way to turbo my car. Read in a modding bm mag for £3000 i could get a m50 engine (525i) converted to turbo but would have to send my engine to Norway which would cost a bit and take about 6months.

LSD's can be had for about £100 matey

Been lookin stu only ones i have seen are about £200 to £250. Are the easy to fit?

I got mine from a scrap yard on Cleveland Street

Paid £100 cash for it. Theres about 8 torque bolts per drive shaft, and 4 or 5 bolts that hold the actual diff to the floor of the car. Had to bodge the electrical connections on the back, but never had any problems, just covered the connections in silicon and never had any problems with it

I am getting some mad backlights and a mono brow made up for my car (top and bottom) should be the only car in the country with both these mods will be on the car sometime injune i hope will keep ya posted

That was amazing mate. Fastest thing ive ever been in and the fastest ive driven meself. Unlucky about ur tire fella. Deffo get them front arches flared/rolled mate or it will happen again.Dampers will stop such drastic dippin of the sides mate. Sweet as pimpmobiles get mate!!

Latest mods
fixed the starter. Fixed the fan rubbing on the rad also fixed back brakes,engine mounts (thanxs scooby) zorst and brake pads next up is more power lsd and better suspension. Oh and waiting on a chip and new spoiler and one off back lights look awsome.

The zorst has had it thought it would be good to fall off on tesco's roundabout on friday. Must be somthing about that roundabout that my car doesnt like cos i span out there a couple of weeks ago at 20mph yes 20mph

Zorsts welded up (wont last long) sprayforce are helping me make a one off. I hope to have it all back together intime for sat so if anybody wants to get there hands dirty on friday give us a shout.

Zorst fell off again so i have bought another 1 should sound better than the last one as well.

By this time 2mora (July 2nd) the car should have a new master who i hope will treat her better than i did.

Gutted but for me to get the 325 sport i want its got to go so i can save.

Will have a family wagon for a while but i am sure i can mod it a little.
