Some of the tasks overlaps with Merseyside Lowland Search and Rescue, a probationary ALSAR organisation.

I'm very surprised they didn't approach the police or ALSAR to find this out.

I signed up for this in April, I think. Only got the email to attend the induction (which is in January) a couple of days ago. Shame they didn't have their act together sooner as New Brighton could have used the help last week!

If anyone is interested, Merseyside Lowland Search and Rescue now has a website (albeit under construction).

They're not taking on new members yet, but will be in the new year.
