A pirate BETA has been available for at least 4 months matey?

But as to why anybody would want to run a BETA version of a service pack is beyond me, especially given the state SP2 was in when it was actually publically released lol.

Id wait until at least 3 months after the public release before considering updating my OS, to see what, if any, problems there are with it and whether they are fixed.

There is nothing to gain by running a new service pack, only fixes to already stable software. If running in BETA, it is very likely that will actually increase system instability. Its not like software where you run a BETA and get the new features months before they are publically available.
