Now customers can opt for the Home or Professional version of XP on six models of Dell machines.

Tis a quality decision by Dell, no way would I want to jump to Vista yet if I were buying a new PC.

A lot of Dell's customer base will be semi-professionals, who will realise the benefit's of using the more mature and stable Windows XP rather the new and fairly untested Windows Vista.

Its not only a good move by Dell, but it just goes to show that consumer power can sometimes influence major corporate decisions.

On a sidenote, is that boring enough for you aceritz grin
