Its one of those ones where BM went psyco and called a 1.9 a 316. Could catch some people out.Almost a sleeper design eh and most peeps think the last 2 numbers in the name reflect engine size,most of the tim this is the case,but some are like this.As for the SEI,its prob an SE but he added the I to let us know its fuel injected,just incase u didnt know/assume it.Any pics?
