Sold for £52,500 freehold, it was valued in 2007 at £300,000. The last landlord was paying just over £23,000 rent a year.

If I had the money then I definately would have done, I would have paid that easily. Upstairs is a 2 bedroom home, bit of land at the back, bound to have a cellar, though none of the reports mention it.

See someone had started vandalising it the other day.

The Eagle is back up for auction with a guideline price of £75,000 to £85,000. This was recently bought for £52,500 and has now secured a tenancy of £13,000 a year and has a new lick of paint.

Last time I looked it had been nicely tarted up and re-opened as a pub I thought. It didn't sell in September 2009, the planning documents HERE says that they are to "reinstate" it back to 2 two-bed dwellings. I thought it was built as a pub, perhaps not.
