The North West's favourite weather girl, Diane Oxberry, passed away yesterday morning. It seems only like a couple of days since she was doing the weather.

I was shocked when I heard the news this morning. Such a lovely personality, never met her but she seemed such a friendly person and will be sadly missed.

I was in tears watching North West Tonight at teatime - they made a lovely tribute to her. It's so sad. She was always so full of life. Her family must be heartbroken.
