Another yellow duwk marine craft full of passengers has sunk in Salthouse Dock about an hour ago see
HERE- this must be the end of them now.The Queen was a very lucky person by the looks of it.
What a shame. We went on it a year ago and it was great fun, but when you are in the water, you are riding VERY low. It must have been really scary for the passengers.
I hope they can get the problems sorted out.
yeh i was in liverpool costco at the time heard all the sirens and helicopters and the such and wondered what was going on, honestly thought it was all police then i saw the coastguard chopper go overhead and thought maybe someone jack-sparrowed a ferry or something.
hope everyone gets out ok!
I had just left Albert Dock around 10 minutes before it happened and was on way home on train got home checked internet and found out what had happened!
yes just seen mobile footage on bbc news, 22 taken to hospital, all safe and accounted for it did a back flip in the water
I am just uploading some video now. The funny thing is you can smell diesel in the air but you can't see it until you are right above the water.. a hidden danger? see my pic on

They will have to change the name, how about the yellow submarine tour!
Tremendous videos on the aerialmedia site; loved the tour of Port Sunlight and the music you put with it.
You have a PM.
Aint gotta clue how to read it
I was there today but was home by the time it happened, I left on the 3 o clock ferry, at least everyone is safe.
I presume you mean, pronouce Dukw. It`s pronouced "duck". Cheers
Their public liability insurance premiums must be huge now.
maybe someone jack-sparrowed a ferry or something
I *like* that expression:-)
I heard 'claims for you' have been inundated by the 4000 scousers who were on board
Aint gotta clue how to read it
Sorry, my mistake, it wasn't meant for you.
Another one caught fire on the Thames 30 people had to jump into river and be rescued--thankfully close to shore and no serious injury. Time to call time?

I think its time these vessels were put to bed before someone is seriously hurt or killed
It did well to get all the way from the Mersey to the Thames.
Oh hold on, they're different.
Possibly it wasn't a real DUKW. There is an industry in the States manufacturing amphibious passenger boats for tourism. They all have a passing similarity to DUKWs.
