CONCERN is growing for the welfare of a 15-year-old boy from Birkenhead who has been missing since last month.

Stephen Smith was last seen on October 22, at around 10.30am in Rock Ferry.

He is described as 5ft 5in tall, of thin build with short dark brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a black coat, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

He is known to frequent Birkenhead, Rock Ferry, Wallasey and the Liscard areas.

Stephen, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101, or the Missing Persons Bureau on 116 000.

This is sad, why is it not on the news, why is it that only pretty young girls are in the media when they go missing, it really annoys me . Young people go missing all the time and it's like no one cares!!
Hope hes ok, poor kid.
Hoping he is found safely and back home with his family x
