My gf's r reg punto has a heater problem. when she put the heater on smoke has come out from by the windscreen & smells a bit too.

Anyone know what this might be? I'm gonna check the radiator etc when i get chance but any ideas?

Sounds like the heator motor is burning out hence the smoke

Depends on the access, they are easy to do if you can get to the damb thing, some vehicles have to have the dashboard removed to replace it but others can be done in half hour or so.

Give me a phone at work tomorrow and i can look up the labout time for you, this will tell you how big or small a job it is.

I have never fitted one on this vehicle
