my brother, jack, wants to get himself a project car that he can do up in the next coupla years, so that once he's passed his test, he's already got a sweet car.
he was thinking of spending around 800quid tops on the car itself. then he can do what he wants to it when he's got the cash. he likes the idea of a MK1 clio (like penguins), but theyre all really high milers.

any suggestions? cheers folks

not all the clios r 'high' milers, mine has only done 65000. wich is average 4 it age n reg. how high of miles r u talkin?

we had a look at your car yesterday mate, my bro was well impressed i think.
but mileage wise, at the price bracket he's in, theyre well over 65k miles. but i s'pose a well maintained and serviced one could easily do 120k+

i reckon your gona have to find one off an old dear who only used it to do her weekly shop! thought about any other cars like a nova? (only jokin). i wouldnt do it meself becus if it gets robbed he wont be insured then its a right waste of wedge

id get insured on it mate, so thats not a problem
