Does anyone know what the power output is on a 53 plate vauxhall vectra 2.0 DTi LS.
I know what the new engine range power outputs are but i cant find what it is for the 2.0 turbo diesel.
around 100bhp was the astra dti
Only 100bhp? Thats poor. My dad has got one of these on order (6 speed box). Thought it would have been more like 140bhp
yer just been looking around, the old 2.0 DTI engine is 100 bhp but the newer CDTi engines are 120 for the 8v and 150 for the 16v.
Dazza if your dad is ordering a brand new one i think the CDTi are the 6 speed box's so it will be 120 or 150.
Or he could go for which is what im thinking is the 2.2 dti 16v which is 150 bhp and only group 8 insurance. fit a nice diesel tuning box, vxr remap and filter with exhaust i could be seeing 220bhp.
Humm the mind boggles as how its so easy to modifiy i diesel compared to a petrol car.
Well watch this space people. if the missus lets me buy one in a few months time.
actually now you say it, those power figures seem familiar. When he gets it it'll be 06 or 56 so it will have the new engine
My dads got the 2.0 ctdi vectra on 02 plate and his is 137 bhp.
tell you what been out in the 1.9 sri tdi last year and the midrange was incredible 50-120 was alot quicker than i thought it would be.
