Not Quite : The car is a 16v Golf GTI, sounds okay i guess ?? NOT, They went to collect it and its a DOG, Rusty, ripped interior, worn out is an under-statement Wanting people to phone up and pledge items to do the car up with (Furry Dice, Seat covers, Neons etc etc....) I was very tempted to phone up myself and pledge some underfloor neons towards it & then i had an idea <img border="0" alt="[Idea]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions079.gif" />

I was hoping Cruisewirral could "Chav This Ride" for City FM ??

I have spoken to some of Cruisewirral's Sponsers and they have all agreed to contribute towards doing this car up, supplying there services for free, Yipee......

We may need help from some members to make this Golf GTI 16v all "Blingin"

I think the car is getting sold off for charity at the end of it all but need to check.

I am seriously considering phoning in the morning and offering Cruisewirral and its sponsers to "Chav This Ride" What do you all think ???????????

Ace idea.Unfortunately financially ill be completely unable to help but here to give ideas for mods etc...would defo get the CW crew on the map and show are existence to the north west. I also dont recall of any maxers bein renowned for there charitable side.If we get the auth to do this then maybe peeps will see we love cars and will happily do things for charity.

Im sure us girls could make it look sexy when its finished just by standing next to it hehe.

I have phoned Radio City this morning and they are going to phone me back maybe this morning or tomorrow, However a company has foned up and offered to do some "Flames" down the side and another company has offered to do "Tinted Windows" already

Splat Grafix have offered to do all of the grafix and sun-strip's

Kerr\'s Performance Styling have offered to tidy the bodywork up

Come on peeps, get your thinking cap's on and see what we can do to make this happen.

Fastcarz are doing the programmable underfloor LED Neon lights

Kerr Chan is doing the bodywork totally seperatly for it also

Radio city are sad.it'd be cool to get CW heavily mentioned in the motors production. Dont let them chav the car. It must be cool no burburry and no spinnin wheeltrims and led washer jets etc.....

Today i realised peeps will do anything for charity. If we maxed a car for charity we cud recover the costs (partially or fully) and give the rest to charity a good local one. Just look at that **** band aid one. Already a record breaker,only cos peeps care about charity.

Done it, Boy was i nervous I very nearly replied to that by saying "Exactly Kev" but felt it would have been disrespectfull though <img border="0" alt="[I surrender]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions075.gif" />

Anyways, whats done is done and i will keep you informed of the progress, I will post the pictures of when the car is at Autosafe getting the custom exhaust made and when it is at Kerr's Performance Styling getting the bodywork and big bumpers fitted etc.....

Paul Salt is one of the funniest men on the radio IMO, when they were all going on about the car having a box it was really funny.

Kev seed is rather up is own bum bum, i can tell you that much, but i think he was just carrying on the joke, it's like with all comedians, funny presenters they always like to win with the best joke, well in tho scooby.

give it a big 6" rage straight trough system with no silencers from the manifold back. LOL

as its a golf it needs DTM. but not conventional dtm. to for 2 slash cut 4 inch pipes bent up all dtm style centre exit.SWISH!!!

Whateva we decide upon it will be Very Loud, straight through from the manifold and look the dogz Gonardz, Probably Rage as they are loudest ......

i'll vouch for that i have a Rage DTM on mine

twin dtm side exit or go ott and have it comming out of the boot lid.

Maybe a bit too extreme but side-exit DTM on both sides! WOuld be hard to do i would imagine!

bootlid is a bit too far to go for free.too much work involved. Side exit cud be a good idea and i dont think itll look good on a old skool golf where there wont b 2 much skirtage

Get Kerr Chan to 'custom make' some - This was the idea i had with the twin sideexits

twin 5" slash cut duplex, poking out through the rear bumper??????

Side exit is easy to do, the only problem is clearance of the boxes. I think the centre exit DTM is looking favourite at the min......

definetly centre exit but i think every wil expect you to use the dtm style maybe use the letterbox like you had or maybe do a duplex system of the dark chrome cans thats sporty yellow has on his seat so itll have 4 pipes at the bk

Heard the mention for autosafe again this morning, Kev is giving you a really good mention compared to others, he even gave out the phone number for your garage.

Yeah, i know, thats coz i wasnt happy with the original plug when i was on the radio last week.

He has plugged Autosafe 3 times since and quite good plugs like you say.

I was meant to be getting the chav golf today but we have changed the plans a bit, should be getting it a bit later in the week ......
