For some reason Fords have left this on my car on both sides at bottom of door, I have never seen them on any other fiestas.

Its starting to look a mess with the black around the edges.

Whats the best way to remove them.

Stone chip guard, if that was the case would they not be on sills aswell.

No other fiesta i have seen has them on. And my mate has a brand spanking new one, and that does not have them on.


Am not bothered what it's for, whats the best way to remove them.

Warm it with a hair dryer or heat gun to loosen the glue and it should peel back.

Then thiners to try and remove the left over glue. Then soapy water. Finally T Cut. If you dont get it all you will end up with dirt / dust sticking to them bits and looking even worse.

Its not a 5 min job.

Be careful with the thinners Willo,it can take the paint off too.

thinners won't take the paint off. wd40 or tar remover, just about anything solvent will do it.

Thinners is great for cleaning surfaces.
It can leave a residue which buffs off with a cloth.
I used to prep cars with it before applying vinyl never a problem.
It evaporates when applied.
