Could someone please tell me the pro's and con's of having your subs inside out (back to front) whatever you wanna call it.

You need to buy Free Air Sub's To them to be effective fitting them the way you have suggested.

I Believe they are more effective when fitted in sealed enclosures like sub boxes...

ok, but do u actually notice crisper base? it is more space consuming with the whole sub stickin the air but if it sounds better, might think about a new install. bigger and better, back seats out, wall of sound in.

if you want a crisp base, get your self some 8 inch subs and stick them in your car. turn the frequency to all, that will kick ass for the crisp notes, then leave you 12 s or what ever as normal on low. you cannot relay on one or two subs to do all of the work. there are that many frequencies tp base that you do need to buy alot of ranged subs, thus when you see a good install they have alot os different sized speakers happening.
