haha thats some craaazaay music, wonder how that satellite dish broke?
Posted By: Shadow_Omega Re: Bidston Heritage Day - 26th Sep 2009 8:53pm
well the missing half is right below it so i'm guessing someone forced to break and bend in order to get to the other half of the roof.

Wouldn't let me up the tower above the bell-pull room when I was there at about 11 o'clock, so that destroyed the whole purpose of the visit, the windows at that level are frosted glass.

Did anyone see a full drum band playing?

grrr! That would have annoyed me. Wonder why tho?
Posted By: Shadow_Omega Re: Bidston Heritage Day - 26th Sep 2009 10:51pm
i did try to get into the bell room but the door was jammed and it was a very tight fit for me to even stand on those stairs.
Posted By: RUDEBOX Re: Bidston Heritage Day - 26th Sep 2009 10:57pm
Did you feel claustrophobic shadow? I did, when i went up st hilarys. Worth it tho
Posted By: Shadow_Omega Re: Bidston Heritage Day - 26th Sep 2009 11:00pm
i didn't feel claustrophobic but i just had trouble moving up and down because of how tight it was and getting in and out of the roof was an even bigger pain because i was having to twist myself in to get down. now i know how a bendy straw feels

Posted By: kezzbag Re: Bidston Heritage Day - 27th Sep 2009 12:37am

After Bidston shadow_omega and I (or is it me) went by train to West Kirby to do a UE
(actually I wanted to get a 4gb memory stick which are now £7 the 4gb memory cards are £5 at Morrisons)
We came out of the station and after walking awhile we realised that we were going down the wrong road
Here's a couple of pics of what was going on

Also at Morrisons on offer were
24 x cans of Carling for £10
and tin of Quality St chocs £5
