i am after a very powerfull power inverter if any one has one or nows of a cheap one. it has to be able to do close to 1000w.

Sorry to post tghis BUT what is a power inverter (err yes i am thick)

alowes you to run object that usually run of your house mains 240v of a 12v car batter, eg plugs in you cigarete socket and then you plug you playstation in to the unit.

scooby will that be powerfull enough to run power tools of and say halogen lamps.

it would be btter for you to bu a 2300 watt genny from macro, only £100 at the mo jo

Its only a halfords one says on it 12v dc to 230v ac is that any good to you?

genny means buying fuel and i will just forget, i have seen a 2000w power inverter for 150 so unless i find a cheaper one that will have to do.
