Shared drive with neighbour was done six months ago and there are some chips/holes which the contractor, whilst I was out, told my neighbour, he would repair.
The main problem is that the coating has come off in patches over half drive. There seems to be no major problem with the concrete.
Before I phone the contractor myself to state we wish to have the coating done again, can anyone advise me.
We propose to put our concerns in writing and phone Wirral Council Trading Standards if any problem, after having read recent Wikki posting.

The Supply of Goods And Services Act 1982 states work must be undertaken with reasonable care and skill and be of satisfactory quality. In general, Recorded Delivery letter asking for a response in writing ( state time limit- 14 days would be a reasonable limit) to be sent to the Contractor. Photos of drive preferably with date on, to be taken and if you wish a second opinion from a person in same line of business would support your complaint. If no satisfaction contact Trading Standards, see recent Wikki posting. phone no 08454 04 0506. Keep a copy of all correspondence.
