we have a deposit with whitegates for our house and i am wondering if it is possible to have the deposit which is held by the Deposit Protection Scheme transferred to another estate agents instead of havng to wait to get the money back from them.
Doesn't deposit normally go to your solicitor/conveyor, not the estate agent? Wouldn't trust an estate agent with my shoe lace!
no nower days it goes in to a Deposit Protection Scheme, if this isn't done nower days then the landlord can be fined.
Ah, I see - I was miles away, cheers!
My granddaughter was able to transfer it from the deposit protection scheme to another estate agent recently
We've recently had dealings with DPS. They will only release the deposit once the landlord or agent has agreed to.
You will have to find another deposit and then claim the other back.
trying to get the admin fees down at the moment with Belvoir, there after £275 :-O
