[Linked Image]

So thats been it for awhile nothing much else except Ive sold my bodykit!
Posted By: Anonymous Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 11th Aug 2005 10:33am
Why coilovers though Al? I know they're great for handling like, but are you going to be adjusting the suspension for different conditions when they are on? confused
Posted By: AL Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 11th Aug 2005 10:49am
Nope probably not mate didnt want springs and springs and shocks were only a little cheaper than these mate so I thought what the hell!
Posted By: StuyMac Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 11th Aug 2005 10:55am
Chamone! This cars gonna be stiffer than a porn star on Viagra laugh

Get used to avoiding small stones in the road - they feel like boulders if you run them over eek
Posted By: AX_125 Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 11th Aug 2005 11:02am
Is your going to be at all practical?

I have trouble getting over bumps, driveways etc as it is in mine. Yours will be mad, will look nice though
Posted By: AL Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 11th Aug 2005 2:21pm
Ok then lads thinking about it i dont need coilovers and Stuys definetly convinced me now so getting springs and maybe upgrading to shocks aswell in the near future should be lowered by Sunday fingers crossed ive also put the standard rear lights on and again you were right Mr Adam!
Posted By: Anonymous Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 11th Aug 2005 2:35pm
Coilovers are good if you need to adjust them for different types of racing or events like track days etc etc and i personally wouldn't have them as i wouldn't use them to their full extent with me never doing track days etc. Wise choice though Al, the money you'll save can go toward something else smile
Posted By: AL Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 13th Aug 2005 1:04pm
Well I got the springs and a massive thanks to Stuymac who fitted em for me cheers bud very much appreciated, car looks tonnes better now only need to uprate the rear shocks as the front already has KYB gas shocks! Once again cheers Stuy thumbsup and sorry for Chris stamping on your head, elbow, thigh, knee etc!

Posted By: StuyMac Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 22nd Aug 2005 8:54am
Ya big sasquanch!!

I didnt do all the work with your suspension for you to swap it for a Jordan mad
Posted By: Gary Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 22nd Aug 2005 10:50am
as much as i like yours al, and i do alot its really snmooth subtle and sleek and clean, ive got to say i would swap myslef.

they're a limited edition so wont pop up that often, gettin rarer all the time with poeple crashing, yellow (then you can be in my gang) and they are just different. i dont know much about yours and the jordan so i couldnt say ohhh its got that or it hasnt but from what i do know id say swap.
Posted By: StuyMac Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 22nd Aug 2005 10:58am
Banana Men laugh

wink
Posted By: AX_125 Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 22nd Aug 2005 11:00am
tough call. Personally, i would swap, but the coupe is still quite rare compared to the hatch.

A decision i wouldn't like to make
Posted By: Anonymous Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 22nd Aug 2005 11:10am
JORDAN JORDAN JORDAN

Do it Al, you know you want to! Although yours is shexy so I understand why you are in abit of a difficult situation.

Posted By: AX_125 Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 22nd Aug 2005 5:07pm
Was that grille easy to replace, was it a good fit etc?
Posted By: AL Re: AL : Honda Civic Coupe Vti - 22nd Aug 2005 5:49pm
The grille was a great fit mate however dont forget yours is a different front end so quality may be different and fitting is a piece of piss! Company off Ebay
