Hey all, it feels like years since I was last on here/saw any of you! Someone wanna give me a quick run down of how things are? Joe? Stuy? Mark? Who else is still here from days of old? Who's driving what?

I've just posted up my caddy in the for sale forum, on the lookout for something a little more sensible now... as long as it takes less than 10 secs to get to 60 and corners like it's on rails lol smile I'm starting to miss being able to go fast, the civic coup' of 3 years ago being my last mildly quick car.

I've been in Oz for the last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Laura and I drove across from Perth in W.A through desert, mountains, across beaches, through cities and small towns in the middle of nowhere, through tropical rainforest to Cairns in N.Qld. One hell of an experience and I recommend everyone do it at some point.

I've gotten myself into the classic veedub scene thanks to picking up the caddy back in April '07, and inevitably that's led on to me picking up a classic camper smile It needs alot of work but it's mot'd and drivable, for now.

I'm back in the family business now as a groundworker - if you need your drains fixing give us a shout!

Cheers smile

Hey Jimbo, nice to see ya, to see ya nice.

Ive got 2 kids now so Im currently driving a baby bus, Mazda premacy, but it is the 2.0L sport spec so it aint that bad.

always wanted a bay, but they were'nt safe enough for the kids, no 3point belts in the back, ABS, side impact, airbags etc.

How much did that VW Bus set you back (if you don't mind me asking)
Posted By: jimbo4x4 Re: Jimbo's "catch up" thread - 20th Nov 2008 12:30am
£3k mate, but only thanks to the current economic probs. Otherwise it would've been more than 5. It's sort of a "rolling restoration" project, in that it has mot but does need work.. This needs a full front panel, front arches and repairs to the rear quarters and window frames. Fully restored with a decent paint job it'll be worth more than £10k smile
