I thought i'd seen most this in life, but couldn't believe my eyes when i looked out of my window to see what the nosie was, turns out young lad about 18-20 yr riding a Honda 125, nothing wrong with that you might saw, well this nut was riding with no lid on, no lights up and down the road, up on to the footpaths, and then dashs up the road on the wrong side, christ knows what the other drivers think of this, but the guy must be sick of living, did try to call the cops but seems the lines are busy on fridays, so just keep out of his way, unless you want to find yourself 6 feet under.

See it every day, but when I was a lad there was no law stating you needed to wear a helmet.

Why is Keef getting stick? ...it is anti-social behaviour especially at that time of the night ...I'd have phoned the police too.

Nobody is giving keef stick? In case you haven't noticed some kids just died in this situation and I'm sure his family don't need reminding about it every farts turn. This is normal, I did it when I was a kid and I'm sure there's a lot of others too. Keef we bombed round in big beemers, totally uninsured, cushions under our asses to prop us up with no licence. It was the norm for us as kids to just buy cars off people's fronts, totally unroadworthy mind and screw them around the Wirral until the cops caught us. So no, nothing changes, it's part of growing up and you calling police will only make it worse, besides by the time they come out 3 days later the bikes will be gone anyway

said motorcyclist kills pedestrian, smashes into another vehicle causing loads of damage.
Its ok son you just do want you want.
We have traffic lights for a purpose.
It might well be part of growing up for some kids --but that doesn't make it right. Shop lifting sweets when you were young, stealing money out of phone boxes, burgling houses--all part of growing up--for some kids.

Burgling houses and shoplifting. My my fish, not while I was growing up, seems you have a chequered past. On a serious note this will always happen, I'm not saying it's right but they will learn as they get older. Calling police doesn't help.

I think calling the police can help . Just a shame they dont turn up. Them turning up and stopping a biker doing such dangerous things, could stop him mangling an innocent bystander/road user two minutes later, surely.
I do agree with you though that loads of young bikers go through a phase of taking outrageous risks, screwing the guts out of their bikes giving no thoughts to the consequences-- car drivers likewise --and still grow up to be normal responsible adults . Still wrong though . They were just lucky not to have hurt anyone.

people die on motorbikes so easily and 1 silly mistake can cost them their life so yes stopping them or trying to stop them is better than doing nothing at all!!

Thanks for the replies people, when i was young did all the silly things, but nothing like this, i ride a motorbike have done for 40years, and wonder why you are paying though the nose for insurance, the sad fact if this tosser had killed some one doing what he was doing, he would have cried like a little baby once the police had nabbed him, then laughted his head off as the judge gives a five pound fine,

On a serious note this will always happen, I'm not saying it's right but they will learn as they get older. Calling police doesn't help. LOL! Well I can admit to pinching sweets from a shop on one occasion and a magnet from someone at school--both times I was found out and confessed...learnt my lesson. The police were called and I got the proverbial ticking off and fear of God put in my sails. As for burgling houses --not I but a friend whose dad would take him out and put him through the small windows..thank fully he is now a very reformed character serving the less fortunate in our community. I suppose "Calling the police" depends a lot on our view of the police. I agree sometimes the Police can be more problematical in a situation and so it may be matter of judgement to call them or not. A gang of youngsters being boisterous on a street corner --maybe no problem for some--if they start getting drunk and drugged and smashing bus shelters then they need some intervention.

Probably the same knob that spat at me when I beeped him yesterday by the Murco in Poulton.
Skidded to a halt right in front of me for no reason.
I genuinely wanted to knock him off, I saw red for a moment.

An hour or two ago. Motorbike on L plate going up Exmouth Street, Birkenhead. Overtook cars waiting at lights and turned right against the red lights into Claughton Road causing various other traffic to manoeuvre round him.
At the same time there was a police car going in the other direction who clocked him but couldn't have turned round in time to do anything.

It seems only a serious accident is enough to stop people. I can't say for certain if it was the same bike, but the day before the Oxton crash I did hear an offroad bike tearing up and down Shrewsbury Road. And the fella with the quad. Again, it might not have been the same person driving it in an antisocial manner, but how many quads are there on the road in Wirral? http://www.wirralglobe.co.uk/news/1..._crash_between_car_and_quad_bike/?ref=mrBut what about the poor drivers who were in the other vehicles and have to live with the memory of the accident?
