The advice given in the buyers section is to test items before buying.

Use FDISK to wipe it.
Thats via the command prompt.

Choose the wrong drive and you will wipe the wrong drive instantly with no get out of jail.

If I remember the picture ste I dont think it has the toggle switch.

Willo google FDISK.

strangely just thought try plugging it into another device incase your actually blocking it via your pc ?

Install a drive partitioning software.
This may make it easier to work with than FDISK.

And there is always the possibly its damaged or has been magnetised. Kiss of death to memory.

If you dont have a second device to try it in. Reboot into safe mode and try format drive.

You can see in the sellers picture that it is already formatted.

The sellers picture is from windows explorer.
Willo's picture is from disk manager, giving different information to the end user.

Seller has been in touch and asked me to bring it back, hopefully he can sort it, as I want to load up full of music for my car.

I very much doubt this one will have a switch.
I have a few the same design and there is no switch.

That's why My 64BG is formatted to FAT32 for compatibility.
But i cant add a file over 4GB. But it suits my needs.

i think he's having a go at my "sarcastic" comment regarding the switch hence the reason for the smiley faces i posted earlier. smile
