I wonder if anyone can help...I have an ordinary skybox but I cannot get it to work from the remote...it works fine when I change the channels from the actual box itself but will not respond to the remote..I have inserted new batteries in remote, cleaned it and even tried a different remote from my neighbour which works fine on his set but not on mine...the box is out of warranty.
Thank you

try removing one or both batteries and press select button for a minute this should remove any remaining charge in the capacitor and reset remote.

Scratching the memory banks now, I think you may have lost the code, something to do with a code for the TV that the remote recognises, if the batteries go and they are not replaced within a certain time scale you lose the code, something like that anyway, perhaps google is your friend here.
