Aw thanks so much,,well the voluntary work is something i will defo keep up when i get a paid job too,,one of the jobs i do i've had to put on hold,, but the other 2 i do are just great :o) one is "as & when needed in my own time" the other is counselling one eve per week (min) I find the skills u learn from them are really important & also keeps the ole brain ticking over! ha x

counselling sounds really interesting i would'nt mind doing something like that
now the kids are older, but haven't a clue how to find out about things like that?

hi Muffin,,Well after 7 weeks of waiting,,got no post 2day,,so i got on the phone only to be told that all letters have gone out,, they don't know why i havent received it,, all the jobs that people had turned down,, have now been accepted,,all the letters that went out ( the people that have been waiting this long) are all rejection letters! Really gutted i must say, as i am unemployed, even went on a training course to prepare for it, pre employment thing that was done through the jobcentre,,,all for nothing,,, but i met some really nice people on the course, so one good thing came out of it.. x

Hi Free spirit,, Well im now a trained counsellor for "childline" in Liverpool,,, its a long process from start to finish,, once u get accepted on the training programme tho,, it's done over 11 weeks,, I really enjoy it & i know it makes a great difference to the lives of a lot of Young people :o)
If u would like to know more about it.. let me know & i will explain how to go about starting it.
Oh,, i didnt get a job at Morrisons by the way :o( I've explained it on "Muffins" post.... Hope you've had a good day x
